It is the anointing that destroys the yoke of bondage. Please read on further as Pastor Baker teaches about how to obtain deliverance. Pastor Baker casts out devils by the Spirit of God. Matthew 12:28 KJV But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. |
| Deliverance is available through a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. To have a broken spirit is to humble ourselves before the Lord and to totally trust Him and surrender all of our fears and doubts. Standing on the promises of God we must believe totally in the Word Of God without any hesitation or disbelief. We walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. We serve a God that is able to do the impossible. There is nothing too hard for God. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. You must believe that He is a rewarder to them that diligently seek Him. We should never serve God only for what He can do for us, but we must be obedient in order to receive our deliverance. The Lord knows if we are being truthful or real with Him. We cannot deceive God. We can be delivered from many things, such as sickness, afflictions, lunatic demons. The Lord suffers these things to happen that He may get the glory in our lives, and also for our growth or chastisement. We do not need to try to figure out why He allows these things to happen. What you should do is seek Him for deliverance. Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be open. We should never lay down and just submit to our affliction or bondage because He died that we may have the victory, not only in our spiritual life but also in this present life John 5: 5-9 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: Mark 3: 10 -11 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues. And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. 14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: Matthew 6:7-8 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. When you are praying you have to keep your mind on the Lord so you can receive your deliverance and you need to expect that you are going to receive it from what you are need deliverance from. There is no limitation in God. Prayer is very important because without prayer there is no communication with the Lord. Some deliverance happens spontaneously and some deliverance takes a period of time with much prayer, bible study, fasting, and reassurance from the your pastor or ministerial leader. We must seek deliverance and not be satisfied with anything less than total deliverance because it does belong to you. We cannot be impatient because God does not move on our terms or in our expected time frame, but we must wait on Him knowing He will deliver us. Keep knocking and coming before Him being persistent. Don’t give up! We have to be like the woman that went to the unjust Judge. She kept coming and kept coming until he did what she asked him too. Luke 11:9,10 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. When someone is praying with you for your deliverance you need to be willing to be obedient to their direction and have a teachable attitude because the Lord moves in various ways. Some people think it is vain or repetitious to call on the name of Jesus over and over again but there is power in the NAME . The Name of Jesus is an Anointed Name. The demons have to obey that Name and it helps you get up into the realm of the Spirit. Some deliverance requires help from an anointed leader or Pastor whom God has sent. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Which Is Deliverance) 1 John 3: 20 – 24 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. |
